About Roberta Miles
Chicago artist, Roberta Miles, is a graduate of the American Academy of Art. In addition to creating and exhibiting her own artwork, she has worked as an art teacher for over 18 years, and she is the founder of “Young at Art,” a program for bringing art to seniors. Roberta Miles is also an accomplished jazz singer, with a degree in Opera Performance. In addition, she is known for her writing and performance work with credits including writing and performing at Steppenwolf Theatre, I.O., and Second City. She produces two long running shows in Chicago: Loose Chicks and Cafe Cabaret. She has also written and performed one-woman shows based on her life that explore uncomfortable topics with brutal honesty.
